Viv and Len’s Sonoma Wedding

I had a blast photographing Viv and Len’s Sonoma wedding. The private residence where the ceremony was held was perfect for their intimate backyard wedding. The house had tons of fun art that I enjoyed incorporating into some of the images. Viv is also a wedding photographer, so  the pressure was on. Every part of the day- as I saw it- went perfect. I later found out that Len had to have an emergency appendectomy the night of the wedding. Crazy, right? After we took some afternoon portraits, he was feeling off, and it just got worse until they finally had to get him to the emergency room. Viv told the story much better over on A Practical Wedding- you should read it over there. All I can say, is that life and love are such blessings to have and we should never take them for granted. Viv also mentioned that the handful of  handful of polaroids I sent them off with after the wedding helped her remember that their wedding was awesome, despite the crazy events that took place later like having to postpone their honeymoon and other wedding events. Hopefully these images will continue doing just that for rest of their lives.
