The Custom Suite for Geraldine Magazine

Wedding stationary is a great opportunity to give your guests a taste of what your day will be like. Is it going to be formal, modern, black tie, rustic, casual, hip? All of these cues can be woven into the design of your paper products. You can see how these suites each are suggestive of each of these different weddings. I like to close my eyes and imagine the rest of the details for these- where were they, what did their florals look like, what dress did the bride wear, what would it feel like to be there... Apple Celery Julep

I hope you are thirsty... I worked on a series of signature cocktail recipes for Snippet and Ink with Paula Le Duc Fine Catering that will be rolling out weekly this summer. Here is the first recipe these tasty apple celery juleps from the beverage team at Paula Le Duc Fine Catering. Tune in to Snippet and Ink every Wednesday to catch the other drinks. 


• glass – silver julep cup
• method – shake & strain
• garnish – leafy celery top; thin green apple slice
• 1 oz. Vodka
• 1/2 oz. Akvavit
• 1 oz. PLDFC house-made celery cordial
• 1/2 oz. German Apple Liqueur
• 3/4 oz. fresh Lemon Juice
• 2 sprigs of lemon thyme



Add all ingredients above, shake and strain into silver cup over crushed ice, top up with more crushed ice to form a mound.
