Your venue can be a key source for inspiring the look and feel of your wedding. From choosing the types of florals that will grace your table scape to selecting the flavor of your cake, an organically inspired wedding is all about infusing design elements that blend naturally with your surroundings, thereby creating an environment that is warm, inviting, and simply elegant. Each element of this shoot was brought in with the consideration of this California location- the oak trees, dry grass and pathways were the foundation of everything. Each color was matched to the location from the flower girl's dresses, to the florals, table design and paper suite. The rustic oak trees paired perfectly with the elegant yet unrestrained calligraphy by Tara Jones. Similarly, Max Gill's locally sourced greenery and florals have that wildness- an organic understated elegance that blends seamlessly with the landscape.
This shoot was produced for and featured in Geraldine Magazine Issue 01 (pages 26-39). You can also see it featured today on Once Wed.
