Crystal's Bridal Shower in Rue Magazine

I had a blast shooting Crystal Gentilello's bridal shower for Rue Magazine last month! Crystal in the cofounder and editor of Rue, so you know it was good! Designer and interior guru, Kelley Moore, hosted the event at her home in San Francisco. In addition to the overwhelming style and design that was going on, there was an all-star cast of other vendors contributing, like florals by Natalie Bowen Designs, a photo booth by Tomfoolery, and Julie Song Ink. I was also loving the classy bartender from On the Rocks SF. There weren't any of the traditional bridal shower games either (whew). My favorite part of the afternoon, was actually after most of the guests left- Crystal's fiance, Andrew, showed up with flowers for her, and they looked through the guestbook filled with marital advice from all of the ladies who came to the shower. Even advice that seems simple, can take a lifetime to master- like "Don't go to bed mad" from Andrew's grandma. It was a great reminder that there is a wealth of wisdom to be had in your community before and after your wedding. I posted some of the photos below, but you can also see them featured on pages 46-54 in the new weddings issue of Rue Magazine, as well as on Style me Pretty Living and Inspired By This blog. Cheers!
