Romantic Gold Wedding Inspiration

It was great getting to work with some of my favorite wedding professionals to produce this shoot. It started with the China Cabin in Tiburon, an intimate event space with beautiful 22k gold leaf detailing throughout the interior. Shannon Leahy was inspired to explore a different- old meets new- design based on China Cabin. Lots of rich gold and yellow toile flowed into all areas of this concept. Shannon pulled a custom linen, gold flatware and gilded plates (from Frances Lane), gold candelabras and chairs. Anne from Mira Aster created a stunning paper suite with the toile fabric sewn to the printed paper with gold thread and a folded-book style invite. Amber from Sweet on Cake brought the toile and the architectural detailing into a custom wedding cake for us. San Francisco bridal designer, Trish Lee, let us use her brand new 2014 gowns. My favorite florist, Max Gill, made rich burgundy arrangements, bouquets, boutonnieres and the floral crown. It was really fun getting to see this concept come together and I hope people might find some inspiration for their wedding as well.  To top it all off, this shoot was featured on Snippet and Ink today!
